Ultrasound imaging (sonography) uses high-frequency sound waves to view inside the body. Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can also show movement of the body's internal organs as well as blood flowing through the blood vessels. They are useful in quick screening of abdominal organs, in evaluation of pain abdomen. Antenatal scans to monitor growth of babies inside mother’s uterus can be done periodically. Colour flow in limbs and in neck can be evaluated. We have two 4D Doppler scan machines.
